About the Production
Through school, I have been able to create a variety of graphics for assignments. From magazines and menus, to tickets and podcast covers, I have been able to learn how different software works and how to use
them to make engaging and unique illustrations. All these projects are made from scratch, using my skills and interests to properly make effective professional work. With the help of instructors and courses, I have been able to improve these skills, make professional illustrations, and have found a new hobby for me to explore.
My role when making these projects involves everything, from planning and research, to gathering resources and creating the design. This allows for the content to be completely my own and cover my interests.
Creative Problem and Solution
The main creative reason behind making sports illustrations is to learn how to make content outside of being on camera. Having a wide variety of skills is extremely crucial as you might need it when you least expect to. Getting jobs in the sports industry is very challenging, and being multifaceted is extremely beneficial.
Making magazines, podcast covers, and other content helps me gain those important skills that allow me to become multifaceted and useful in a variety of situations. Gaining knowledge is something I enjoy doing, especially when it is beneficial for my career, and being creative with these illustrations does that.
Process and Development
When making illustrations, plenty of planning is required to understand what I am creating and how I am going to create it. This planning includes gathering images, getting reference material, and creating basic drafts. With this planning, the rest of the development process is significantly easier and helps the work look more professional.
Making magazines, podcast covers, and other content helps me gain those important skills that allow me to become multifaceted and useful in a variety of situations. Gaining knowledge is something I enjoy doing, especially when it is beneficial for my career, and being creative with these illustrations does that.
Results
When making illustrations for school assignments, there are not a variety of reactions or opinions from others. When creating the magazine and Super Bowl tickets, my teacher was extremely impressed with the detail, creativity, and professionalism they had. While he is not a sports fan, he was able to enjoy and appreciate the illustrations as if he were, and gave me near perfect marks for the final products.
Acknowledgments
While making illustrations, there was one person who helped me gain my skills and make enjoyable content, my teacher Mr. DiCesare. His classes and lessons helped me learn the basics of design software and grow my skills into making graphics.
